My Mission

When elected, I will continue to advocate for public education. Working with the Board and Superintendent, I will focus on:

​

  • Expanding FULL DAY Pre-K FOR ALL CHILDREN across the county

  • Increasing PARENTAL AND COMMUNITY involvement at the school level

  • Attracting and retaining HIGHLY QUALIFIED teachers

  • Collaborating effectively with our elected officials to ensure there is EQUITABLE FUNDING for the school system to keep pace with growth

  • CONTINUING to advocate for HEALTHY AND SAFE classrooms by providing more counselors, trained staff, and programs to help kids deal with issues that affect them at school.

I have been married to my wife, Kim, for 30 years. We have one son, who graduated from Charles County Public Schools.
